What I Have Learned

(During Pandemic)

One thing, can change EVERYTHING.

No one is untouchable. Rich…….. poor. Young…….. old. Strong…….. weak. Educated…….. or not. The virus does not care.

What does it remind me?

We are all in the same boat. Anyone can get infected.

Ensure that I am emotionally strong, before helping others solve their own.

Detachment….. we can pray for our loved ones that they may be safe and then let go.

Love and compassion…….. can be given in any form. A word of encouragement over the phone or simply to say I LOVE YOU……..

to the ones you hold dear.

I can forgive those who have wronged me as I no longer want to carry that heavy load on my back.

External events and other people’s actions are beyond my control. I can only control my thinking and how I respond.

Also remembering that the way I interpret things will affect the way I feel.

Regret……. is a useless feeling as past is dead and gone forever.

Worrying about the future prevents me from enjoying the present which is the only thing infront of me. I can only focus on NOW.

It is better to achieve something that is NOT perfect than trying to achieve something perfect which is beyond my reach.

Most importantly….. HOPE and FAITH I can keep in my heart whilst I am on this journey and as long as I breathe!
