To breathe. Pause. Reflect. And just be.
Total freedom — the freedom to exist without the need to be anyone else except myself.
Stepping away from the constant commotion doesn’t just clear my mind.
It uplifts my spirit. It rejuvenates me in ways I never thought possible.
It sharpens my focus on what truly matters.
Of course, being alone can sometimes be daunting, as no one is an island. Yet, these times of tranquillity have made me stronger in my ability to relate meaningfully to others when I am ready.
Once the period of stillness has passed, I have the energy to be with those around me from a place of authenticity, not expectation.
And in the end, it’s not the quantity but the quality of the time we spend with those we encounter that makes those moments meaningful.
